What Is Google Ads / Adsense?
Here at GOSIMPLE.CO.UK we believe in sharing information and knowledge.
Google Ads are a way of generating revenue through advertisers links or banners on a website. The Google’s AdSense program lets you sell advertising space for other people’s ads on your website and not just any ads that Google chooses, but ads that are relevant to your site’s content pages. The service is free, and you earn money every time someone clicks on an ad. Adverts cannot generally be chosen so there is a risk of your competitors or other businesses that compete in a similar realm as you do be listed on your website. However, there are options to filter out certain websites from appearing on you adverts but this is time consuming and you probably won’t get them all!
Google pays out small amounts per click to publishers that the advertisers pay for by bidding on keyword space in search engines and Google AdSense Websites / Blogs. The way the Ads are displayed is directly related to the words you use within a sites content page or post. There are some keywords that pay out more per click than others, you will have to experiment to find out which keywords pay higher price per click (PPC). But typically your keywords would relate to your website, for example the following relate to our website and will help to present you with relevant and meaningful adverts that you might be interested as you are reading this!
